Josiah

Please pray for my Josiah. His girlfriend broke up with him and he is in a very bad way right now. We need a dad right now. Thank God for Mr. Brian who is on his way over.


EDITED TO ADD: Okay, we're good now. **deep sigh** Prayer is amazing. :-) If nothing else, I believe Josiah saw that he wasn't alone. Angela's husband, Brian, came over...primarily because I wasn't sure if I was going to need to hog tie Josiah or something and he's bigger than me. lol I told him that I didn't care how big he was, I was still his mother and I'd tackle him to the ground if I had to. I called Granny and she got Pop on the phone to talk to him. George (Josiah's dad) called and I filled him in on the details and he asked me to join him in prayer on the phone (which was odd in itself. It has been years since we have prayed together, something we used to do regularly and something that I don't ever remember doing with Clinton, except for grace). Then Josiah talked to him. Eventually things calmed down and a couple hours later, he and I talked about what happened with his gf. This time last year, she broke up with him, too. And I'm not mad at her. She's just 16 and wants to enjoy her teen years. He can get a little possessive. I told him that he needs to take this time to take that mess to God and get to the root cause of why he wants to monopolize her time. Because until the root is identified and yanked out, there won't be any good fruit.
