His Momma's Son :-)

Below is a bulletin post that Josiah posted on his Myspace page. It's killing him that he isn't old enough to vote in this election. He is very passionate about the issues. And I am so proud. :-) He's not "regurgitating propaganda" or simply espousing his parents' beliefs. He's done his research. He's a smart kid. Reminds me of another 17 yr old from way back when. :-) Those of you who know Josiah well, know that he doesn't have a racist bone in his body. So you can understand how it bothers him to be lumped into a stereotype.

Body:	I am not going to sit back and take this anymore. I have to let this out. Just because you are white, and are voting for (or support) John McCain and not Barack Obama, does NOT make you a racist. Now I'm sure there are a lot of people who will be voting for John McCain because he is white, but I am just as sure that there are a lot of people voting for Barack Obama because he is black. But that doesn't mean that ALL white people , or all black people for that matter, will be voting for the "person of their color". It kills me to see how much bigotry is showing itself in this election. And it is equal on both sides, and it NEEDS TO STOP. All I can tell you if you are voting is to ACTUALLY pay attention to what these men have to say, and be an intelligent American, and make the best vote for your country. Thank You, Josiah Dells
