This made me laugh. Sounds like the story of my life but I especially feel it today. Okay, Lord, gotcha. Less talk, more action. Check. :-)

If you can't seem to get revved up to start the day today, have faith in yourself! It is just one of those days when you're going to have to fake it until you make it. Your body can be tricked by your mind, so just think that you have energy, and you will have it. Slap a smile on your face, put one foot in front of the other, and then just keep going through the motions of your day! Sooner or later, the momentum of your movements will help get your motor started and improve your attitude.

I picked Josiah up last night at 2 am from camp. Seems he had a great time. I hated to have to tell him about the happenings of the week and the rush/crunch we're in but he wanted and needed to know. Today is going to be a packing day and we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Clinton had the kids all day yesterday. They really enjoyed their time with him and it was great to see their excitement when I picked them up as they told me about their day. He took them shopping and got Liam a birthday present and got both of them new sneakers for school. I was very happy about that. I should've taken the day to work and pack but I took a long overdue nap. I slept so soundly for 3 hrs that I woke up in the same position and was so confused. I never have 3 solid hrs of sleep without some noise or person or phone waking me. Then I got a shower......alone.....very nice. :-) Cleaned up the house, did some laundry, etc. It was just so refreshing and relaxing, even though I worked around the house, to actually BE in my house all by my lonesome. I turned the phone off and just enjoyed my time by myself. Wow. I totally underestimated the rejuvenating powers of true alone time. What a luxury. And a rare one, unfortunately.

Now we're off to church. Was going to have a pool party for Liam's birthday today but it's fixing to rain all day so I'm going to get them set up with movies and popcorn after church while I do some packing. So we will do his party on his actual birthday, now that the movers aren't going to be here that day.

Have a good day, y'all! :-)

I do think there's something to the addage -- "fake it until you make it!" You will get there -- and when you get on the other side of this, you'll be amazed at what God has been doing all along.

I just wish I could be there to help you!

Okay. . so while you were leaving me a comment, I was writing another (MARATHON) post. I made myself cry -- sound familiar?

Love you, girl!
