He Goes With Me

I'm really thanking God this morning for something that I don't think I've ever thanked Him for..... my strong will.  :-)  It often gets me in trouble & leads to my downfall.  But as I get older, I am learning to make peace with it and use it to my advantage.  I've learned to TEMPER  (pun intended) & balance it.

For example (por exemplo), on days like today where there's a high pain level in my body, especially my head, that strong will is pushing me to fulfill my obligations & go to work.  That's a big deal for me because my work doesn't involve sitting at a desk (which has its own challenges).  Rather, I have 2 houses to clean.... so I'm talking lots of movement (& I move FAST when I'm on a job) and lots of twisting and turning.  I'm very detail oriented when I do a job... thanks to Ft Bragg's Airborne Inn where I had to clean to military standards for a couple of years.  :-)  In essence, lots of physical activity which means lots of blood pumping through my temples that are already throbbing.

But I know that "where I go, my God goes, too" and He says that I "can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me".  And since God cannot lie, it must be true.  The gift is there, I just have to take hold of it, open it and use it.  :-)

Put that strong will to use today to effect positive outcomes, my friends.  :-)  Have a strong, productive, joyful day.... Find something to laugh about & someone to smile at..... :-)
