Dec 11

So much has happened these past couple of months. I don't know if I have the time to get it all in this blog post right now. I'm at the library because over the Thanksgiving break, our house was broken into, trashed (& I mean TRASHED!)and my new iMac desktop, my old Macbook Pro laptop and my camera equipment (minus the camera itself because it was with me) amongst other things were taken.  To say I was heartbroken about my Macs is an understatment.

We had gone home for Thanksgiving and had a great time.  Saw a lot of old friends and family and just enjoyed ourselves. On Saturday, a deer "jumped" me...smashing up the front of my van and busting out the new lights.... on Sunday, while we were packing to leave Mom's, Liam broke his leg so we wound up in the ER in York, PA while he got a cast and crutches.  Then the next day, after a 10 hr drive in traffic and rain, we got home to discover an extremely sad sight.

I called my insurance company to check on the coverage of my renter's insurance only to discover that I had not renewed the policy (what? ME, be forgetful?! never. ha).  Not only was there no renter's insurance but I discovered that I forgot to pay my car insurance premium before I left so my auto insurance had been cancelled (the wknd I hit the deer)(but my amazing agent fixed all that so there's no lapse in coverage).

We stayed with some precious friends for a few days, who even went to the house with some other precious friends and started the "clean sweep" process.  I had wanted to do a clean sweep on the house before I went home but didn't think that THIS was going to be part of God's plan. I learned a lot during this process and am looking forward to other things God has to teach me. Me and the kids are ALWAYS, WITHOUT FAIL, in the palm of His very strong and capable hands. I just gotta wait to see how the story is going to pan out and what He has in store.... I know it's going to be nothing short of AMAZING. That's how He works. :-)

Oh I wish I could stay on here and type.  I have so much to say (don't I always? lol).
