Joyful in Hope

I'm so excited about a brand-new day! Renewed hope, promise....OPTIONS. :-) In the past 48 hours, God has been orchestrating some things that I have been privileged to see unfold in my life. Not hugimongous earth shattering stuff....you know, like I didn't win the lottery, Kenny Chesney didn't ask me to marry him and whisk me away to a romantic getaway to a remote island........(hold on, I'm letting that one sink in for a bit.....lol.....okay, I'm good). Anyway, where
was I? lol

Okay, so nothing like that happened. Just some things falling into place. And after the week I've had! Sheesh. I love that God loves me! :-) I love that He's not like any man. He's Always there. Always faithful. Like my friend, Julie, said one time: Jesus never cheats on us. :-) He's Always loving, even when He's disciplining me (God knows I need that sometimes. lol). HIS love is unconditional. "NOBODY ELSE compares to the Mighty Lord" (Ashley Cleveland song).

Well, I need to run off to church with all the Wonder Crew. We've got a busy day ahead. And thankfully, it's a sunny day. I feel this....how do I describe it?....a quiet excitement.....okay, I know y'all are laughing because there's really not much 'quiet' about me. lol But what I mean is that, I feel an awakening that's not an extreme, sudden hyper kind of thing. Kind of like when the sun comes out full and bright and warm on your skin, penetrating deep into your muscles after a period of cold, dismal, gray rain. This past week and maybe these past months, I've had moments that felt like the sun breaking through....a few minutes or hours, here and there of respite and relaxation and getting away from it all but then the clouds come back, before it all can really sink in. Like quick rain showers that fall on fallow ground.....refreshing but not penetrating deep enough.

Okay, I really have to go. But just one more time, for your viewing pleasure..... Mr. Kenny Chesney, my future husband. lol There's a funny story about that with my Livvy Lou that I'll tell later. Have a great day, y'all. :-)
