Farside Break

Anyone need a Farside break? I know I do.....desperately. Let me see what I can find.

This isn't Farside but it makes me laugh just the same. :-)



I know I need to grab a sanity break wherever I can. Tonight, when we were driving Casey home (who was upset about having to leave plus didn't feel good), I saw that the sprinklers were on at the bank. So what if it's on a main road on Post and so what if it was 9:00 at night. I pulled into the parking lot, told the whole crew to jump out and I was the first one to run through the sprinkler. Oh my gosh, they had a BLAST! (that is, of course, after they got passed the awkward "is this a trick?" moment). Then we turned on some music (Intergalactic by Beastie Boys), danced our cares away and had ourselves an impromptu water party right there at the First Citizens Bank. There were about 6 or 7 sprinklers going so we ran through all of them. Oh my goodness, it was so much fun. About halfway through the fun, I turned the heat on in the car because I knew everyone would be freezing when we got back in. We were soaked to the bone and I'm sure the passersby looked up at the full moon and thought, "yup, full moon and the crazies are out". Lol Hey, I was just teaching my kiddos how to put the "FUN" back into "dysFUNctional". :-)
