Olivia

Olivia is making a good bit of progress in her reading class. They have started to integrate her back into the main classroom for reading and are considering taking her out of special reading altogether. I'm so proud of her. She works hard at it. She is a very determined young lady. Sometimes that annoys the pee out of us in other areas but I know it will serve her well in the future (thanks, Mom....you got your wish of poetic justice by me having all strong-willed children. lol) I have noticed such an improvement when she reads stories to me. The main thing is for her to not be tired and to keep her focused. Right now, she has been sick for a couple of days with whatever has been going around. She does her best to stay on top of her homework because she gets so mad when it piles up.

She's doing her second season of Hip-Hop and Jazz class and will have a recital in June. She's a natural at it. Also, she has made a new best buddy from down the street and they spend a lot of time together. They have tried several sleep overs, without success. Inevitably, one of us mothers gets a call in the middle of the night that our daughter misses us and wants to go home. Then we send a big brother to the other house to retrieve the little miss. Never fails. We've tried putting an end to the sleepovers but each time, they swear that they won't do it and each time they do. lol

You're going to cry the night she doesn't call. She's turning into a young lady. I'd love to see some pictures of her dancing.
