Easter Photos

Alright, the post you Grannys and Aunties have been waiting for......the Easter photos. :-) I have some on my cell phone from church but can't figure out how to retrieve them yet. :-) Josiah wasn't with us on Easter because he had gone to his Dad's the day before for Spring Break. Their Daddy wasn't with us because he is in school in GA. But we had a very good day despite missing our loved ones. Also, there's a picture from that day of me with my new glasses. My friend says I look intellectual. Yeah, right....then they do a good job of hiding the mashed-potato brains I feel like I have most of the time. lol

It started off with discovering the Easter baskets on the front porch, then breakfast, then church. Our friends, the McCandlesses, went with us to Chapel Next. After church, we went to the Knaack's for a great dinner. But not before Aidan found a stray Hershey's kiss under the table and chowed down on it. When I found him, his Sunday best was covered in chocolate as was his chubby little face. He seemed quite pleased with himself. :-) At the Knaack's, the kids had an egg hunt in the yard and their dog, Zeus, got in on the act, too. Aidan wasn't happy about being left inside for the fun as is seen in his dramatics at the patio door. We stayed all day, cooked together and had a delicious dinner and watched movies in the evening: Enchanted and then Cinderella Man. Clinton texted that he wished he was there and then later called to talk to the kids.

It was a very enjoyable Easter Sunday.
