Yesterday was Olivia's 8th birthday. They had off of school because it was a teacher's in-service day. A few of her friends came over and they had lots of fun dancing and singing and playing. We were going to do a scrapbook party but they were more into playing, plus my printer was out of ink. I took lots of pictures and will have another play date where I show them how to make a tag book or something.
It was the first day of Autumn so I decorated with a fall theme. She had pumpkin pie for her birthday "cake" (That girl could eat a whole pie by herself. Even when she was a baby, I remember going to a friend's house and discovering that Livvy loved pumpkin pie). We had two pies. One to have with her friends and one to have with just our family after dinner. We got her a scrapbook shaped like a purse with sticker pages in it and I gave her a coupon for times with Mom, scrapbooking, etc.
